** Quieter home needed, might be okay with calm dog, really likes other cats***

Ivy was born outside to a stray mom and was discovered and rescued when she was about 4 months old.   Because she had no human interaction before she came into KAAP, she is quite shy and nervous.   She has come a long, long way with her foster mom though, and is learning that people are kind and safe.   She is learning how to play with toys now, ( she LOVES her feather wand toy) and she has a great little gentle purr.  She loves to be pet once you gain her trust but she will run away if something startles her or if she feels overwhelmed, but she is getting braver and braver every day and will be someones little love bug in the right setting.    She is a stunning, shiny black little girl with huge amber eyes.   She enjoys having her head scritched and full body pets.    In order for Ivy to be successfully integrated in a new home, she would do best having a "safe space" where she can get settled, and used to the new sounds, smells and humans in her home.     She has every potential to be a loving little lap cat, in the right environment.   She would really love a quiet, calm home with no loud kids or too much activity as she can get nervous if there is too much noise or activity.  She does like having other cats around and would do great with a little friendly cat friend.    She has just started sleeping on her foster mom's bed, which is a big step for her.  As with most kittens that weren't raised in a family home she needs to be given the time, patience, and unconditional love in order to blossom and thrive.

We want to set her, and her new person, up for success so will be looking for the exact right home for her.

Ivy has been vet checked, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200.
