Penny was surrendered to KAAP just before her 16th birthday because her family just didn't want her any more. Her teeth were extremely rotten and she needed extensive dental work to be comfortable, which KAAP took care of so she can be pain free for the remainder of her life. Penny doesn't hear very well any more, and her sight isn't great. She will remain in a KAAP foster home where she will be loved and cared for for the rest of her life.
