Winnie is looking for her new best friend! She wants to be included in everything you do and is always up for adventure. Nature walks, biking down mountain trails, cross country skiing in the sunshine or whatever you have planned, she is up for it all! Winnie is a wonderful dog and with more guidance and consistency will blossom into the very best version of herself. Winnie can be destructive when bored, so would do best with someone who is able to manage her alone time. She is great with children, good in the car and off leash. She has been tested with cats and will be fine with the right introduction. She is good with other dogs (better off leash) and would do best with a confident playful buddy. She is crate trained, knows basic commands, has a sweet personality and loves cuddling on the couch. She has food allergies and needs to be fed a specific diet or given allergy medication.

The adoption fee for Winnie is $350. She has been vaccinated, micro chipped and spayed. If you are interested in adopting Winnie, please click the link above to reach the application form. KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to ensure our dogs are going to the very best homes. Due to this, we will be accepting applications from the West Kootenay region only. We reserve the right to select, in our view, the applicant that is the best match; not first come/first served. Completed applications are required to meet Winnie in her foster home.
