Harley is a sweet but fiesty affectionate 3 year old girl.  It breaks my heart to have to give her up as well.  Her and Diesel have become the best of friends and she aims to please as well as protect her people and her best friends (dog-friends).  She is loyal and faithful and extremely smart.  She loves adventure and off-leash walks, especially when she can chase gophers and squirrels and she even will chase deer for quite awhile but she always comes back and finds me no matter how far she’s gone or how far I have gone since she left me.  And her tongue is hanging almost to the ground by the time she gets back to me.  But she is as happy as can be.  She loves people, however is nervous around children, not mean at all, just isn’t like Diesel who wants to be pet by them, she instead will purposely avoid them for some reason.  She is the same with certain dogs.  Some dogs she will sniff and or play with and others she will purposely avoid.  She is leash trained and crate trained, up to date on vaccines, house trained, and has always been in good health at her vet appointments.  She is constantly hungry and food driven and she has always been on the thinner side and so we have played with her diet a bit, especially because she is prone to looser stools.  The vet always says she is healthy though and has just suggested a higher fat food, which we have done, as well as more at meal times, which we have also done, but her weight has stayed the same.  She is easy to train because she wants to please and she is also food driven too.  Like Diesel, I have to give her up because of my new living situation and mostly because of my declining health.  Ideally the two stay together but more importantly the two go to good homes where they are loved and cared for and where they make the family happy too.
