Description:

Pepper was found starving on the streets of Mexico in January. A kind couple took him in and nursed him back to health and brought him to Canada so he could find his forever home. He is young, healthy and ready to be your hiking buddy and best friend. Peppers favourite thing is PEOPLE! Of all ages! He wants to be part of the action or getting loved on. He has a friendly and happy attitude with everything he does. Pepper is great with kids, travels well in the car, and is house and crate trained. He currently lives with other dogs of all sizes but slow introductions are necessary while he builds confidence. He would be fine living with another dog if it was the right match. No cats or other small animals in the home would be best for Pepper. His super smart, fun, loving and playful.

The adoption fee for Pepper is $350. He has been fully vaccinated and neutered. If you are interested in adopting Pepper, please click the link above to reach the application form. KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to ensure our dogs are going to the very best homes. Due to this, we will be accepting applications from the West Kootenay region only. We reserve the right to select, in our view, the applicant that is the best match; not first come/first served. Completed applications are required to meet Pepper in his foster home.

Please help KAAP care for Pepper and support the work we do by making a donation through canadahelps.org. Donations can be made with any major credit card, interac or via paypal. You will receive a charitable receipt via email. Thank you for your support.
