9 year old, 7 ½ Ib, intact pure bred Toy Poodle in search of a forever home. Originally a seniors dog and will do best in a single person home without children, however he has come a long way with his behavioural issues towards kids and guests in the past year if approached gently with caution.

He is very affectionate once adapted, but takes time to warm up to new people and has not adjusted to being a family pet with a child in the home.

Excellent on or off leash with impressive recall, and very calm outdoors however he is still very energetic and capable of adventure. He has been great with other dogs.

After being on supplements for his knees for 6 months, this little guy hiked pulpit with zero complaints and didn’t need to be carried! Bo will now ring jingle bells to go outside and is happy to use a porch potty in bad weather, but hates grooming and needs a consistent routine. He likes to be reminded/asked if he wants to go out and loves being sang to and spoiled!

Sedatives have been prescribed for his grooming anxiety during the event, however they didn’t seem to help much so I have opted to keep him short haired and groom him in shorter sessions as I self groom my dogs. (If a groomer is preferred he will need an experienced, fearless groomer every 6 weeks or so)

FREE to Approved home with experienced loving, calm and firm dog owner only who is capable of meeting his grooming needs. No children in the home, cats or other dogs okay and he would 100% prefer a female owner.
