These nine gorgeous puppies were born and lovingly raised in a KAAP foster home, where they’ve been surrounded by care, cuddles and early socialization from day one. Their mama is a sweet yellow Lab mix, and while dad is a mystery, we suspect he may have Catahoula and/or Australian Shepherd traits—so expect smart, loyal pups with plenty of personality!

At 5 weeks old, these babies are just beginning to explore the world, show off their playful sides, and steal the hearts of everyone they meet.  They’ll be ready for their forever homes around January 5, 2026, once they reach 8 weeks of age and have completed their first vet check and vaccinations.

Meet-and-greets are available now for approved applicants in their foster home—an early chance to connect with your future best friend!

    Adoption Details
The adoption fee is $400 which includes:
    Vet check
    First vaccination & deworming
    Microchip
Spay/neuter surgery (required before 6 months of age as part of the adoption contract—non-negotiable)

Rabies vaccination and booster shots will be the responsibility of the adopter.

KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to make sure our pups are placed in safe, loving, and well-matched homes. Please note that adoptions are not first come, first served—we reserve the right to select the applicant we feel is the best fit for each puppy. Applications will only be accepted from the West Kootenay region at this time.
