Luna is an 8 month old Malinois who is smart, energetic and affectionate. This high energy dog will thrive in an active home with a consistent trainer. She is eager to please and learns quickly. She is house trained, crate trained, and good with cats. She is very active so she may be difficult for some smaller or older dogs to tolerate. Luna comes when she is called and likes both men and women. She is hesitant with strangers. She is not mouthy, with her teeth, though she will bark when she is excited. She is nervous when meeting other dogs but plays readily once the introductions are over. She is very enthusiastic in everything she does. Luna is working on sitting at doorways, sitting to greet and walking on leash.

Luna needs a home with an active person who understands the training needs of working dogs. She will be an excellent hiking companion and always ready to go.

We are only accepting applications from the West Kootenay Region at this time. Luna’s has been fully vaccinated and her adoption fee includes her spay and microchip.

KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to ensure our dogs are going to the very best homes. We reserve the right to select, in our view, the applicant that is the best match; not first come/first served. Completed applications are required to meet Luna in her foster home.
