Meet Macy!

Macy is a gentle, soulful 5-6 month old pup who is ready to find her forever landing spot. Rescued after being found abandoned with her littermates, she has shown incredible resilience and is blossomimg into a wonderful companion.

Macy is a thinker. She is incredibly alert and observant, often taking in her surroundings with a watchful eye. While she is a total sweetheart, she has a sensitive soul and likes to take things slow. She may take a little time to warm up to new people and environments, but once she trusts you, her affectionate side shines—especially if you offer her favorite thing: chest rubs!

Macy is a superstar with children! She is remarkably patient and has done very well even with hyperactive kids. She is a gold-star student with housetraining and has had zero accidents inside her foster home. She is fully kennel trained and views her space as a safe spot. Macy is still a work in progress on the leash. She’ll need an adopter who is happy to continue her training with patience and positive reinforcement.

She has received her first vaccine and deworming. Please note that her follow-up booster shots will be the responsibility of her new family to ensure she stays healthy and protected. Macy’s adoption fee is $500 which also includes her spay and microchip.

KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to make sure our pups are placed in safe, loving, and well-matched homes. Please note that adoptions are not first come, first served—we reserve the right to select the applicant we feel is the best fit for our pups. Applications will only be accepted from the West Kootenay region at this time.
