Molly, a 6-year-old mix breed dog, 55 lb, up to date for all vaccines, is looking for a new home. Molly came to me as a rescue about 6 months ago, and unfortunately, my own dog did not accept her I have to keep these two dogs separate at all times, just for the reason they fight when they get into the common territory. that is becoming increasingly hard to manage the two in my home, I have to keep them crated and muzzled. Molly is very sweet and kind in general, but maybe a bit reactive when out and meets other female dogs.
She has some separation anxiety, but I was working on that for the last 5-6 months and now she can stay home alone, the longest she stayed was 6 hours. She would go crazy and very excited when I get back home, but that is just because she is really happy to see me back home. She is really good with crates and can sleep overnight in the crate and prefers to stay in the crate during day time, but I do leave it unlocked. She is very good with cats, not sure how she would be with small kids. But she needs to be the only dog in the household. She is very smart and trains really well, she’s pretty good on recall, but if she smells wildlife she can take off chasing it. She is really good on leash walks. When in the house she is really quiet and obedient.
