Handsome and intelligent, this guy will be an amazing guy for the right person/home.  He’s not a purebred but his mastiff qualities are strong, and he’s 125 pounds, so absolutely requires someone with experience with these kinds of dogs, who is willing to continue his training.  He has basic obedience (is eager to learn more), is polite at mealtimes and loves to lounge by the door, hike through the woods or hang in the garden with his person.  He’s very protective of his people and their property, and for this reason his ideal situation is to be the only pet in an adult home (though he’s good with my kids he’s very wary of those he doesn’t know). He sleeps inside and wants to be with his people, he’s not a leave-outside farm dog.   A secure fenced yard is essential.  He’s well loved but my shared home/property situation  is no longer suitable due to his strong guardian nature.  A really wonderful dog for the right person who appreciates what these breeds have to offer and is willing to  commit to continue his training to bring out his best qualities.
