Toby is looking for the love and patience of someone who knows Coonhounds. He spent his early years quite isolated and has suffered some trauma, we are helping him work through behavioural issues and helping him relearn the wonders the world has to offer and how to be a dog again. He wants to love all people and dogs, but he is scared of many things. I think he would do well in an active home, with one or more gentle, mellow dogs to help him feel secure. He knows basic obedience and is a very good boy on his no-pull harness and leash. He loves his walks. Being a hound, he has zero recall, so a fenced yard is important. And likely no cats as he does have prey drive.
Toby is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. He’ll come with a bed, his harness, bark collar, kong wobbler, food and treats.
