Meet Denali: Your Future Adventure Partner!

Are you looking for a co-pilot for life’s greatest expeditions? Meet Denali, a 5–6 month old pup who is living proof that a rough start doesn’t define a great spirit.

Found abandoned with his littermates, Denali has left the mystery of his past behind to focus on a much brighter future.

As the big brother and largest of his litter, he carries himself with a natural confidence, though he still has a sensitive side that comes out when meeting new faces.

True to his name, Denali is always looking for the next trail to blaze. Whether it’s a hike in the woods or exploring every corner of the backyard, he is motivated by curiosity.

Once he knows you’re his person, expect plenty of love. He is a sweet, loyal boy who thrives on connection. Denali tends to be the more dominant personality among his litter. He’s a leader, but one who still appreciates a slow, patient introduction to new humans to help him overcome his initial timidness.

Denali is being set up for success! He has already started his medical journey by receiving his first round of shots and dewormer, and he is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped later this week! His forever family will just need to handle his follow-up booster vaccinations to keep him protected as he grows.

Denali is looking for a home that understands the balance between adventure and patience. He needs an active family that will take him on world-class walks, but also one that will give him the space and time to build his confidence with strangers and new experiences.

Denali’s adoption fee is $500.

KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to make sure our pups are placed in safe, loving, and well-matched homes. Please note that adoptions are not first come, first served—we reserve the right to select the applicant we feel is the best fit for our pups. Applications will only be accepted from the West Kootenay region at this time.
