Helping my elderly parents re-home their dog. Jessie is a 7 year old Kelpie. She is sweet and loyal with her people. She is a healthy dog. She has been great with the grand kids ages 6-12. She is fearful of some dogs and can be reactive at times.
Jessie is best suited to a larger property where she can live in a consistent setting and not have to meet new dogs very often. She has excellent recall and stays close to her people. She would do well with another dog who she can get to know with a proper introduction and who is mellow.
Jessie is a great dog in the house, she is not destructive and has good manners. My parents adopted this girl when they were in better health, but are no longer mobile enough to give her the exercise she needs, especially in an urban setting. Jessie would be a wonderful companion for anyone who has some space, and peace and quiet for this sensitive girl. We are not asking for a rehoming fee, just want to find the right fit.
