Little Bear came into KAAP under sad circumstances. She was found abandoned all alone in the woods, but she was saved by some amazing humans and has been in a KAAP foster home for just over a week. Little Bear has received her first vaccination, deworming and parasite prevention. She is doing great with her house and crate training, loves the other dogs in her foster home, and is working on sleeping through the night. She can be stressed when left alone (understandably) and is learning bite inhibition and basic manners.

Little Bear is a very sweet and playful girl who would love nothing more then to be near her person. We don’t know her exact age or breed but do know she’s 100% adorable and sassy and going be a really great dog!

Little Bear’s adoption fee is $400. This includes her 1^st vaccination (booster and rabies are the responsibility of the adopter), internal and external parasite prevention, microchip and spay at the appropriate age.

We are only accepting applications from the West Kootenay region at this time. If you are interested in adopting Little Bear. Please click the link above to reach the application form. KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to ensure our pups are going to the very best homes. We reserve the right to select, in our view, the applicant that is the best match; not first come/first served. Completed applications are required to meet Little Bear in her foster home.
