Meet Marty the Treasure Hunter! 🐾
Marty earned his title honestly—he is a master at locating every toy in the room (and perhaps a few you forgot were under the couch). If you’re looking for a companion who is as dedicated to finding hidden treasures as he is to cuddles, look no further. Marty is our resident collector, and he’s ready to find his forever home! Found abandoned with his littermates, Marty’s early life is a bit of a mystery, but he isn’t letting the past hold him back. At approximately 5–6 months old, he is right in the heart of his “puppy discovery” phase.
Marty is a sweet, playful soul with a heart of gold. He is highly food-motivated, which is fantastic news for his future family—he’s eager to learn and will do just about anything for a tasty treat!
Marty is currently learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. While he can be timid in new situations, his bravery grows every single day. Because he is still working on his confidence and can be a bit shy, Marty would thrive best in a home without young children. A calm, patient environment will help him truly shine.
We are making sure Marty is in tip-top shape for his new adventures. He has received his first round of shots and dewormer and is scheduled for his neuter and microchip later this week! His booster vaccinations will be the responsibility of his new family to ensure he stays healthy and strong.
This sweet boy is looking for a partner to help him navigate the world and share in his discoveries. If you have a lot of love to give, Marty might just be the “find” of a lifetime!
Marty’s adoption fee is $500.
KAAP adoptions include a reference check and home visit to make sure our pups are placed in safe, loving, and well-matched homes. Please note that adoptions are not first come, first served—we reserve the right to select the applicant we feel is the best fit for our pups. Applications will only be accepted from the West Kootenay region at this time.
