Meet Rambo — looking for a loving new home in the Nelson area

Rambo is a 12-year-old neutered male who is a very affectionate, cuddly and vocal companion. He loves spending time outside, but he always stays close to the house and likes having his people nearby. He is litter box trained and doesn’t shed much hair. Very low maintenance.

He is a bit of a scaredy cat and does best in a calm, quiet environment. Big noises aren’t his favourite, and during thunderstorms you’ll usually find him safely tucked under the bed. ❤️

Rambo can get along with other cats, but he’d ideally be the only pet in the household. He’d be happiest with someone who can give him plenty of attention, a peaceful home, and the option to safely spend some time outdoors.

Unfortunately, I’m moving away for the winter and won’t be able to take Rambo with me. I’m hoping to find him a permanent home by the end of October with someone who will love him and give him the stability he deserves.

Another possibility: If someone isn’t in a position to adopt permanently but would be interested in looking after Rambo from November through April, I’d also be very open to discussing a temporary foster/cat-sitting arrangement. Ideally he’d stay in a comfortable home rather than having to go through a shelter.
